Pavneet Kaur - ITE
Pavneet is an Infant Toddler Educator at Playland Daycare. She is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
She especially enjoys supporting infants and toddlers as they develop their confidence, independence, communication, and social skills through play and everyday experiences.
Pavneet looks forward to building meaningful relationships with the children and families at Playland and being part of their early learning journey.
Shelley Silva - ITE
Shelley and her husband moved to Vancouver Island four years ago from the beautiful West Kootenays to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
She has been in the ECE profession for 30 plus years gaining experience in group and family daycare when her children were young and then moved on to teaching in a preschool program for five years. When they moved to Rossland a colleague convinced her that she should go back to school and get her Infant/Toddler certification and that's when she decided that was where her heart lies in the ECE world. She is enjoying every minute of it and is still learning something new about Infant and toddler care everyday.
Lynn Kearney - ECE
Lynn is a key member of the Playland team! As a qualified Early Childhood Educator with valid First Aid certification, she supports daily activities across Playland. Passionate about nature and arts and crafts, Lynn loves sparking creativity in children whether providing dedicated one-on-one support or assisting with group activities.
Bonnie Zoboski - ECE-A
Bonnie comes to Playland with ECEA certification and a long career of caring for people of all ages. She especially loves working with young children and looks forward to meeting our future Playland friends. She hase raised 2 amazing daughters and values her role in children’s lives and focuses on providing a positive and warm environment where all children can feel safe and thrive.
Nilam Chauhan - ECE-A
Nilam is an an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at Playland Daycare. She enjoys working with young children and creating a caring, positive, and welcoming environment where every child feels comfortable and valued.
